Sources for Help
There are times in all our lives when we need help with relationship problems, family problems or financial problems. it is a wise thing (not a weakness) to seek help from others.
Here is a list of some helpful resources for you to use as needed:
Pastor Larry is available as needed for limited pastoral counseling by appointment. If after meeting witth you, he feels that you may need more extensive help, he may refer you on to a professional counselor.
New Beginnings Therapy Services
We have a working relationship with Pastor Burdette and Nedra Lahr of New Beginnings. Both are skilled, compassionate, professionally trained Chrsitian counselors. New Beginnings is affiliated with Stillmeadow Nazarene Church. Telephone 717.542.5043
Day Seven Ministries
Day Seven offers Christ-centered professional counseling for individuals, couples, and families dealing with difficult issues relating to sexual addition or "sexual-orientation" behavior. Children's Aid Society
CAS is a Ministry of the Pennsylvania Southern Disctrict of the Church of the Brethren. They can provide counseling help for children, adolescents, and families. Telephone 717.624.4461
The Bermudian faith community has a wonderful team of brothers and sisters who have completed a three-year lay counseling program through the American Association of Christian Counselors. While this ministry does not take the place of professional or pastoral counseling, these persons are there when you just need to talk with someone about a problem your are having.

Quiet Place is a Bible Study/Support Group for persons involved in care giving for a spouse or other loved one with serious health problems. Practical help from God's Word, by Pastor Larry, and other caregivers seld-care thoughts are shared.
A cup of tea, a moment of rest, and a time to share with others who understand may be just the help or peace that you are desiring. Strict confidentially is stressed.

Crown Ministries was founded by Howard Dayton in 1985 and later merged with Larry Burkett's organization. After a few decades, Howard Dayton formed Compass - finances God's way and Compass radio program, Money Wise, to promote small group studies and teach people how to handle money based on the principles of the Bible.
Dave Ramsey formed The Lampo Group in 1992 with the mission of providing biblically based, common-sense financial education and counsel to give hope to people in every walk of life. Help on budgeting and getting out of debt can be found on the radio program, The Dave Ramsey Show, as well as from numereous best-selling books, such as The Total Money Makeover, and locally held classes.
